It can be used at medium to long-range with great effect but can also compete with submachine guns at close range. The biggest attribute the Cold War Ak-47 loadout possesses in Warzone is its balanced nature. This gives players a deadly weapon when trying to figure out the new meta in Season 5 Reloaded. It’s usually not affected by the massive AR nerfs in Warzone, meaning its recommended loadout hasn’t ever been altered too much. The Cold War AK-47 has been in the meta and was then promptly thrown out of it when a new update arrives. It seems like the Cold War AK-47 is one of the prime candidates to fill that role with its always-strong loadout. The Krig 6, FARA 83 and more have now fallen out of favor, paving the way for a new AR to enter the meta. Over the course of the last week, several assault rifles in Call of Duty: Warzone have seen massive nerfs.
